I want this blog to reflect the good as well as the bad. In my short investing career, I’ve already made mistakes that 1,000,000 blogs warned me of. In the interest of transparency, these are the 3 biggest investing mistakes I’ve already made.

This transfer liquidated around 50% of my holdings. I wasn’t sure if I should keep my money on the sidelines or deploy back into the market.

First Portfolio Update – October 2019

As I said in my first post, I’m actually in the process of switching to Charles Schwab from M1 Finance.

What I didn’t realize is that M1 would liquidate all of my fractional shares right before that, so this is how my portfolio was allocated as of 10/22/2019.

I’m a huge fan of PPCIan. Joined his newsletter and it comes with his entire portfolio with target allocations. Thought I’d throw it into a pie to see what it looks like in M1. Allocations are slightly off because M1 makes you put in whole numbers. Also, Danone SA (DANOY) isn’t traded through M1, but it only makes up 0.8% of his portfolio so not the end of the world.
